Good morning people who hear and obey

2 Kings 2:3-7, 15-18

There are ALWAYS people who have prophetic insight but lack the motivation to go on.

At each step of the journey Elijah and Elisha encountered groups of emerging prophets, the ‘sons of the prophets’ or ‘school of the prophets’. These represent people with emerging prophetic gifts and ministry. Notice their struggle with the demands of the ongoing journey.

They have prophetic insight and yet as the journey continues they don’t seem to be up to the challenges of that journey. They speak to Elisha at every town, but Elisha has the wisdom to not get involved with them. Maybe Elisha knows something that we may miss!

They recognise what God is doing but aren’t willing to pay the price
