Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Philippians 4:6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

We said yesterday that peace is the fruit of a positive, faith-filled anticipation.

But anxiety, in verse 6, is the opposite of hope.

Anxiety anticipates the negative, believes for the negative to come to pass.
But with hope (the absence of anxiety) there comes thanksgiving and with thanksgiving there comes PEACE! It’s peace which guards our hearts and our minds from Satan’s fiery darts of negativity and anxiety. We have settled the issue
