Good morning people who are not casual when it comes to guarding your heart.

Proverbs 4:23 MEV Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

Your life flows from your heart. Yes, it is true that many circumstances are beyond our control and we have no influence on much of what happens in life. But our life flows from our heart – hear the wording clearly – our life and our heart.

These are days to keep our heart with all diligence.

These are days to guard our hearts and our minds in Christ Jesus through the indwelling power and leading of the Holy Spirit.

These are days when we need to take responsibility for our hearts, including what we put into them and what we are feeding and feasting on.

It is also time to guard against the small foxes that so easily ruin the vine (Song of Solomon 2:15).

Here’s a little equation that I hear in the Spirit: My heart = my responsibility.

We really need to keep it this simple.
