Good morning people who will spend eternity in the very presence of God.

John 17:24 NIV “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world.”

John 14 starts with Jesus telling His disciples that He is going to His Father’s house to prepare an eternal home for them. Now at the end of John 17, He is coming back full circle to this empowering truth.

This world is not our home. We are passing through!

Jesus wants us to be with Him for all eternity. I don’t want to complicate this today; I simply want us to mediate on this truth. Jesus wants us with Him!

In eternity, we are going to see the glory of Jesus with fully unveiled eyes. This is beautiful beyond description! This is truly living!  

I felt the Holy Spirit wants to point us today towards knowing the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit more now, even on this side of heaven. Let’s not wait till then to desire God more.

Today is Father’s gift to you to see the glory of God. Open our eyes Lord.
