#5547 – Not Condemned

Good morning people who pray for the world to believe in Jesus and enter into eternal life.

John 3:17-18 NIV For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.”

Condemnation is not God’s desire for any person. The Bible makes it clear that this is not why the Father sent Jesus to earth. The mission of God was all to do with the salvation of people – all people, everywhere.

But there is a reality that is unavoidable: Condemnation is the only outcome for those who don’t believe in Jesus.

It doesn’t sound fair, but we need a revelation, that what is fair is not the filter – what is right is the correct filter. What is right is determined by who God is and by what God says.

The good news is, Jesus paid the price and made a way for every person, everywhere to be saved! The sacrifice of Jesus was not sufficient only for some, while insufficient or incomplete for others. Everyone who believes will be saved – that’s as inclusive as you can get!

My prayer is that this truth compels us to share the good news of Jesus with the world. We need to pray that the Lord will send labourers into the harvest field, but we also must live daily on mission; focused on the great commission.

People need an encounter with people who have encountered the living God! People need to hear the good news, and not just see some good works. Our mouths need to testify about God and His goodness. Our lives need to match our lips. The result will be a great end time harvest!

God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

May we be just like Jesus.
