#972 – Love Our Enemies

Good morning people who love just like Christ did

Today let’s look at what many of us believe is one of the most difficult passages in the Bible. For many, we don’t practice what this preaches, and I believe it’s to our detriment and harm.

Luke 6:27-31 But I tell you who hear Me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. If someone strikes you on one cheek, turn to him the other also. If someone takes your cloak, do not stop him from taking your tunic. Give to everyone who asks you, and if anyone takes what belongs to you, do not demand it back. Do to others as you would have them do to you.

We (yes myself included) make too many excuses why we can’t do what we have just read. I mean look at the list of some of the things this says I should do to my enemies, those who hate me and hurt me.

Do good to them
