Good morning people who earnestly desire to know God better.

Today, Father is bringing me back to the simplicity of more of Him and less of me.

Here’s what John the Baptist said about Jesus:

John 3:30 NKJV He must increase, but I must decrease.

I hear two statements from the Lord as I lean in.

It’s more about a shift of focus than it is about a fixing of problems.

Eliminating problems is nowhere near as important as elevating God! Oh this is life-giving!

When our problems seem overwhelming, it’s time to come up higher in God, to meditate on who He is, and to be safe in His wonderful embrace.

Knowing truth is greater than eliminating facts.

Again, it’s not so much about everything changing, as it is about us knowing and embracing the truth of who God is. God truly is the answer!

And so today, I simply want to point you toward God.

Psalms 121:1-2 NKJV I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
