#5461 – You Are Enough

Good morning people who get your sense of worth from your Father in heaven.

1 Corinthians 1:27-29 NIV But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised thingsand the things that are not—to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him.

Oh, how we need a revelation of this back in the church!

Anything that we are – that is good – comes from the Lord. Nothing good originates from ourselves.

Put another way, if God uses us for His glory, then it is God using us that is the main part of the equation.

The wisest of us are merely a fool compared to God.

The strongest of us are extremely weak compared to God.

And this is all such right and wonderful news!

People need an encounter with the limitless, all-powerful and all-knowing God. And because of His sovereignty and choice, He desires to reveal Himself through flawed, human, jars of clay. Oh, how wonderful is our God!

We don’t need to be perfect – none of us are. We just need to walk with and work with the One who is perfect. It’s His life in us and through us that makes all the difference.
