#5510 – Hunger & Surrender

Good morning people who live a surrendered and a pursuing life.

I recently heard the Lord say, “Don’t be enamoured. Be surrendered.”

When God moves powerfully and supernaturally, we must guard against becoming spectators who are enamoured with what God is doing. Now, let me explain this further.

Yes, we should celebrate all that God is doing – absolutely! Miracles should result in thankfulness and praise to God.

But it is God, not miracles themselves, that change people’s lives! Miracles are doorways and signposts, but God is always the destination!

Therefore, miracles should stir further hunger and surrender.

We should want more of God and we should yield more to Him. And it’s this point that many have the greatest growth area in: ongoing hunger and surrender.

How is your hunger and surrender to the Lord when you are waiting to see the miraculous?

How is your hunger and surrender to the Lord when you are experiencing miracle after miracle?

With God, there’s always more!

With us, may there always be more hunger and surrender too.
