Good morning people who live in the fullness of both grace and truth.
John 1:14 NIV The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
I believe most people would truly like to see the glory of God.
Honestly, when people see His glory, there is a marking that takes place that changes everything – just ask Isaiah and also John while he was on the Island of Patmos.
The glory of God is no small or light thing. It is profoundly and eternally life-defining.
As I meditate on this well-known verse, today I see a connection that I haven’t seen on the same level previously. It is this:
We cannot see the glory of God except that it is through the fullness of grace and truth.
For the many who err on the side of grace over truth, the glory of God will not be fully entered into.
For the many who err on the side of truth over grace, the glory of God will not be fully entered into.
But for those who earnestly pursue God as He is – full of grace and truth – I truly believe that we will see His glory in ever increasing measure!
These are days of renewed holiness!
These are days of restored awe and wonder as we behold Him!
May the glory of God be restored to the church as the fullness of grace and the fullness of truth are once again fully entered into.
